Partner John S. Kern has been named Practice Head of the Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group, with James R. Love being named as Co-Head.
Kern is a patent attorney in Oblon's Electrical practice group, focusing his practice in all aspects of patent law including patent prosecution, litigation and post-grand review proceedings. Kern is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Love is a partner in the firm's Electrical practice group, focusing his practice in many fields including computer software, medical devices and processes, artificial intelligence and computer hardware.
