Dell Corp., Netflix Inc. and TD Ameritrade Inc. are among a slew of large companies and trade associations that have urged the U.S. Supreme Court to leave in place the patent claim construction standard for America Invents Act reviews, arguing the process is working as Congress intended. More than a dozen companies, along with groups like tech industry consortium Unified Patents Inc., submitted amicus briefs backing the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in a case brought by Cuozzo Speed Technologies LLC over claim construction standards.
