A technical background is required in the areas or inorganic chemistry; organic chemistry; or chemical engineering. Industrial experience is a plus. A Master’s or Doctorate in the relevant field is preferred.

The position will be involved in all facets of patent law including the analysis and preparation of replies to office actions; invention and disclosure meetings/calls with clients; preparation and prosecution of new patent applications; counseling clients on patent related matters; agreements and related transactions; and appeals.

Qualified candidates must possess a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice in a state bar and before the USPTO. Experienced USPTO examiners and APJ candidates welcome to apply.

The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $200,000. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience.
